Insight interAsia (IIA) is a technical sales & marketing company specializing in Asian markets. We sell the advanced technology products and services created by smaller companies. Our company operates throughout the technology centers of Asia and our clients are companies from all over the world.

IIA is headquartered in Singapore and we have representative offices in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. We also have agents in China, India, Malaysia, and Thailand. We help clients based all over the globe including North America, Europe, Australia, Brazil, and Israel. Increasingly we are assisting Singaporean, Japanese, and Korean companies sell their products in other markets in Asia.

We started IIA because we found a tremendous void in the services that were being provided to non-Asian companies trying to do business in Asia.
 
SMEs in Europe, North America, and elsewhere do not have the resources to enlist large consulting firms to assist them in Asia, and we found that these large consulting firms are not giving their smaller customers the time and effort they deserve. We also find that the SMEs are more interesting to work with because the level of innovation and entrepreneurship inside these companies is the type of environment we enjoy working in ourselves.

Thus, our clients and principals are smaller firms and entrepreneurs with unique, discontinuous technologies in their intellectual property portfolio. These clients want to sell their products in Asia but they do not have the market expertise, travel budgets, or manpower to sustain an adequate market presence and sales campaign.

Our business began by serving clients wanting to sell into the Asian semiconductor business. We then expanded into photovotaics (PV), microsystems (MEMS) and nanotechnology. In 2008 we began to assist clients enter the growing Asian pharmaceutical manufacturing markets. Our company also has clients in the automotive and environmental technologies sectors, both of which are growing rapidly throughout Asia.



IIA staff come from many different technology/industry backgrounds, but all of us have worked for SMEs and, therefore, we understand more clearly the needs of our clients.
